Columbus Day Weekend

Columbus Day Weekend Rendezvous is held at the East Greenwich Yacht Club, with slips or mooring reservations available for the weekend. The EGYC staff provides a full range of services including fuel, ice, showers, a laundromat, and launch service for OSCA guests.   

Arrive Saturday afternoon.  Moorings are $40/night.  Please contact our Steward Chris or Matt Voccio at (401) 884-7700 Ext. 3.  Messages can be left.  They will need your name, boat’s name, length and draft.

The launch (Patience. Monitor’s Channel 9) will be operating from 9 am to 7 pm. (anticipated schedule).

Sunday and Monday morning there will be a continental breakfast available on the deck, starting after nine am.

Sunday evening we will be meeting for dinner at Finn’s Harbor Side at 5 pm.  (All are welcome to come).  We will be seated down stairs and ordering from their menu.  Each table will have one check to be divided amongst table members.  Finn’s does have a dock if you want to dinghy over.

On Sunday morning we can discuss what we would like to do for the rest of the day.  Potential is to dinghy to Goddard park for a walk and picnic,  rafting the dinghies and floating around the cove, or a dinghy tour of the lower end of East Greenwich cove to see what is past the mooring field.  Also there is the opportunity to hike up to Main Street and see what’s going on in the various shops and lunch.

Please register for this event.  So that we can have a head count for breakfast and for Finn’s.  The cost for this weekend is $5.00 per person.
